Here I am again I have more question about buy a car in N.C and living in V.A?

If the dealer has the title are they suppose to send it to you or does it go to Raleigh NC then then the DMV in VA ?? Or does it get mail to you and you take it to the DMV ? MY 30 tag runs out monday and I still dont have any paper work !! so i was wondering if any one knew .. I was told that the paper work was mail to the dmv Yesterday .... should i get papers or can i just go to the dmv ?? new to state btw
