What rights would Dhimmi (non Muslims) have under Sharia law?

I understand that Shia' & Sunni have a different view of the rights of Dhimmi under Sharia law... what rights would Brits lose should these laws be enacted? Which would allow the most freedom to the Dhimmi population?
