i would say stay at school. dbe too worried bout your cles now, the first semester is always hard because your still getting used to it, i would say give school a full year before deciding to break. also, yes, i think a break will put you behind and its better to go ahead and get it over with. everyone gets homesick your first semester but then you basically just get used to it i did, it takes a while. dont go home and drop out just for this guy that your not even dating. ifhe lives close to you then its not like your really loosing him, you can still see him when ou go homeand hecan even come visit. if its meant to be it will is how i've alwyas seen it. and so you dont miss him too bad, surround yourself with friends and just keep yourself busy. goodluck! Just had an awfully infuriating bus journey with a guy I dated for a while. The previous girl in my position did not get along well with this supervisor, and even the HR department was privy to how difficult it was to get along with this particular supervisor (which is why it was so difficult to constantly fill the position). I've only been working after college for three years, but I've had shining references before this position, and I work hard to pay rent, tuition, etc. Recently, one of my prospective employers told me that they will be issuing me an offer letter after checking into my references. I emailed for follow up on said references, and got a response that said "Thank you for your interest, but we've decided to go with another candidate and made this decision yesterday." After asking this prospective employer about my references, she said they all got back to her - and I am personally under the impression that this particularly supervisor gave me a negative review, as all of my other references I still keep in close contact with. Plain and simple, what can I do to look into this matter further? I'm 25 years old and looking for "real" jobs now - I don't need this woman plaguing my track record of normally stellar performances. It was also a very good job and looks great on my resume, and I don't want to omit it. So I've worked at a retail shithole for about 3 years now. I've done really well, received many awards and recognition for my work. Someone asked a similar question yesterday and I agree with you. I don't think its right to put them in daycare all day or at all for that matter unless it is legitimately needed. I have an almost 2 year old and almost 5 year old and they are with me all day long, everyday 24/7/365. Of course, when I lived in my home state they stayed with grandparents overnight maybe 4 times a year. But other then that they're with me. I would never send them away unless it was for working or school. People are just selfish and think they still need to have their time alone I guess.... and you DO but I have my alone time when they go to bed.

you have 2 oil lights one is for oil pressure the other is for oil level and it sounds like the oil level is coming on which is indicating low oil level it suppose to be a quart low or lower before the light comes on. But if you park on a slant the oil light will think its low on oil. Also if you don't change your oil regularly it may not be draining down. if you change oil every 3 to 5 thousand miles i wouldn't worry about the low oil level light coming on.

Jesus was trying to explain that just because a person does good works, does not mean that is all they need to enter into God's kingdom. Jesus came to earth as a model for us to follow, he preached God's message about his kingdom to rule in the future to everyone-which we should be doing now. There are many preachers and nuns who claim to devote themselves to God, but are they going door to door preaching to people about God's kingdom as Jesus did? Are they truly worshiping the true God with spirit and truth? Goats Milk?

My 12mth old baby boy suffers terribly with runny nose, dry cough and has had a couple of ear infections since christmas. He doesn't have a cold, he has no temperature and is not 'unwell'. We believe he has an allergy to something but doctors are reluctant to diagnose and drag their heels with anything like this - I have terrible allergies and drs do nothing but prescribe antihistamines etc. I give him piriton syrup in the evening (as this makes him drowsy I cannot give it to him in the day) but I recently heard that cows milk can cause these symptoms in mild allergic form and goats milk will help - one parent even stating on a particular brand that his daughters symptoms cleared up immediately at the onset of drinking goats as opposed to cows milk. Does anyone have any experience of this and is trying an alternative milk worthwhile?

I've got a BA in media, I'm doing a Masters in Environmental studies in Australia. I've been nominated to an International university in the USA and I applied as a graduate in the MS Biological sciences program. I don't plan to do all Post grad units - I just thought it would be a good umbrella for me. I plan to do undergrad electives as well. With this said, will this effect my application chances? It's pretty much a done deal I'll get into the university (as I have been nominated by my host university), but I think applying for a MS for my 1 semester exchange might jeopardise that. Or will the university understand I am just using their program as an 'Umbrella' and not care? Any help would be appreciated, I don't want my application rejected, and I don't know if I am able to change my application?

Why has my dog's sheath suddenly started rolling in on itself?

I have a 3-1/2 year old male Boston terrier who I have had for 2 years. I am not sure at what age he was neutered, but he HAS BEEN NEUTERED (caps lock for all who scan this and then yell at me about the need to neuter my pet) as long as I have had him. Occasionally he gets s... this usually arises when he is trying to relieve an itch on his inner thighs, but sometime he just gets a little fresh with my plush blanket. This is nothing new and has happened periodically for as long as I've had him. Recently, however, as in, in the past week or so, he has had trouble retracting his back into the sheath. The first time, I didn't realize what was going on, and was quite scared as he seemed to be struggling to get it back in (I could actually see the retractor muscles in his heiney contracting and relaxing). Though I wasn't really aware what I was doing, I managed to pull back the skin on his underside and get it back in. It happened again today, and, after doing my homework the last time, I quickly realized what was wrong and, again, pulled back the skin to help him unroll the sheath, which had rolled inward when he tried to retract. All of this is not a big deal, as he only exhibits this behavior when I am home, and, both times, I have reacted quickly enough (within a couple of minutes) to help him get everything adjusted and back in place. My question is this: does anyone know why this would suddenly start happening when we have never had this problem before? I've checked for errant hairs that may be catching his foreskin and causing it to roll in, but I don't seem to see anything. He was recently on anti-inflammatory pills for a pulled muscle in his knee, but has been off of them for over a week. Is this maybe just an adjustment to being off of the prescription (he was only taking them for 6 days under a veterinarian's care)? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Echinacea has done wonders for me when I've started to get sick, I usually take 2000mg at the onset(when I start to feel symptoms) once a day till I feel better, then I stop taking it because I was told your body will start to build up an immunity to it and it won't be effective. So I did this, but got much worse once I stopped taking it, so I took a dose of 2700mg and now I'm wondering if it is possible to take too much and if so, what can happen? I don't have any medical insurance, can't afford to pay a DR., can't miss work, and I rarely get sick but when I do, I get VERY sick and will HAVE to get antibiotics to get well again! I'm trying to avoid getting worse, but feel I'm losing the battle. By "sick" I mean I have a nasty cold, fever(low), extremely weak,sinus's achingly full(can't blow it out),coughing up green sputum(small amount), and generally feel awful.

Hi I also saw this earlier and feel that mothers out there will be so confused. I have a very happy and healthy 8 month girl. My husband & I took the decision to starts introducing solids at 17 weeks. We spoke to our health visitor and she agreed. The main decision was because she was exclusivley fed and would not take formula but not gaining weight and very restless at night. She also displayed a big interest in us eating. I think instinct played a mive part in our decision too. So many people feel pressured into doing what they are told or following this and that guidelins. Well I know times change but isnt it annoying when in 8 years people just appear to change their minds all over again. I truly believe that a mother and father will know what is best for their baby. Nutrition is key to getting a healthy baby. Also its so much fun to watch your baby experience new tastes and textures. Enjoying precious time with your baby whilst they are a baby is the most amazing experience we have.

Planning an Alaskan Cruise, what is a good itinerary to take? Cruise ship that offers the best food?

I prefer Princess cruises, especially for their food. For a total treat, they have what is called the chefs table. It costs $75 extra per person, but let me tell you it is the Second best dinning experience I have EVER had in my life(#1 is eating at the French Laundry). The only difference between North bound and South bound is sometimes South bound is a smoother ride, but either one is fine. My suggestion is to book a cruise that goes to Glacier Bay. That is the best of the best. I have booked my third Alaskan cruise and have gone to Glacier Bay one time and Tracy Arms Fjord the other time. Next year it will be back to Glacier bay. If you can afford it, the very best is to take a cruise/tour. That way you will pretty much guarantee seeing plenty of wild life, especially if you go to Denali for part of your land tour. Again Princess does this the best because they own lodges in several places in the Alaskan wilderness and all of them are spectacular. BTW, Alaska cruising is my favorite cruise. Oh, the chefs table is something you sign up for the minute you get on board the ship and is extremely popular.
