How much do you get to interact with your allies in Iraq and -Stan? Like the Brits?

In Iraq i saw them relatively often, but there was little interaction. Here in afghanistan however, it seems like everything is multination. Every base has like 30 flags flyin at it. I see italians, germans, brits, romanians, turks, french, even some canadians.
