Will adding a live plant add infusoria to my aquarium?

I'm looking for another food source for my betta fry. I already have a culture of live vinegar eels, and some brine shrimp eggs. I added a live amazon sword plant to my ten gallon aquarium and wondered if putting a live plant will add microscopic infusoria for the fry to eat.
