Its about my brothers grand mal seizures?

Im not so sure about the accuracy of my brothers therapy for his seizures..and Im interested if someone could tell me about seizures therapy..my brothers therapy is lamotrigine 50mg once a day at 7 PM and he also takes tegretol 400mg at the same time ..he does not have absolut contol of his seizurz he ussualy has once or twice in three monts He is 16 years old, he had prolonged jaudice as a baby so he has seizurez as long as I remember, please If you can help me, advise me thank u in advance
